Moving my child from a Chinese daycare to this school was one of the best decisions we’ve made. The teachers here are incredibly caring, warm, and — importantly — consistent. The teachers are very loving, professional, and teach the children so many things so well that people in our family are always amazed at how much my child knows about random subjects like dinosaurs, plants, letters and numbers. They are also very good with emotional education. My child identifies and communicates his own emotions very well at only four years old. He initially was at Ms Noemi and Ms Aditi class, who taught him well and with care in his initial path of the new language. Now, this school calendar he moved to Ms Tima' class, who is also a great teacher, my son improved a lot on understanding English, he is always excited to attend school to see his teacher and friends. We’ve had two children go through 5 different Montessori programs over the years, and this one has been the strongest by far — truly authentic to the Montessori method, academically rich, and genuinely joyful for kids. Our son was in the Primary room with Ms. Valar, and she has been an outstanding teacher. She’s warm, patient, and deeply committed to the Montessori approach. Our son absolutely loved her. In one year our 3yo learned to count to 100, started doing addition, began recognizing words, and picked up music, geography, geometry, and so much more. His language skills grew, his vocabulary expanded, and he developed socially in ways we’re so grateful for. The school makes learning exciting, not heavy. They introduce meaningful concepts early, at a time when kids naturally love to learn. They also go above and beyond with community events, multicultural celebrations, and lessons that expose kids to different cultures — something that matters a lot to our family. Socially, our son built wonderful friendships. Even our older child attended summer camp here and came home happy every day. We are truly sad to leave earlier than planned and know it will be hard to find a school or teacher that matches this level of care and quality. We highly recommend Genstar and especially Ms. Valar. She is the best and most memorable preschool teacher we’ve had.

All the teachers who have attended to her have taken very good care and made her feel comfortable and happy every day. Read More »I would give this place a 10/5 stars if I could! I love the Genstar Montessori group. I have one baby in the infant group with Ms. Aida and Ms. Maria. My other toddler is with Mrs. Nohemi and Mrs. Aditi. They are all such WONDERFUL people who care so much about each child’s success and happiness. They communicate so well with me as to what my child’s needs are and what they need from us at home. Both of my kids love to go to school here and I’m never met with resistance from them when saying goodbye. They have made such positive connections with their peers and teachers. My oldest started here when she was 9 months old and has since moved on to elementary school but the knowledge she picked up at Genstar is top tier. She is ahead of her classmates in reading by a whole grade! Ms Nohemi and Ms Sania are the best! Now my youngest started here when she was 2 years old and she loves it. Read More »We are coming up on our first year with Genstar and although this is our 4th daycare, we are SO HAPPY that it will be our last/only daycare from now on. Our toddler is in Ms. Valar’s class and since he’s moved around a lot he was a bit shy. Within the first week, he had made friends and has continued to thrive and drop some of his bad behaviors from his previous daycare. Once we had our second baby, she started off in the infant room with the wonderful Ms. Maria, Aida, and Juliana. The transition for the baby was so easy and I know it’s attributed to the care that the entire staff provides for my baby. Everyday at pick-up/drop-off the teachers great each and every child. I am amazed how they know each student even if they’re are not in their class. The events throughout the year are great and has enabled me to make other parent friends and creating better bonds with other classmates outside of class. Our daughter skips in every day, she’s well ahead of milestones, and I never worry about the safety and well being of my children. We had very disappointing experiences at two other schools before finding GenStar so it was such a relief to find such a wonderful, caring place. The teachers and staff at GenStar go above and beyond to make sure that your child feels comfortable, loved, and happy. Read More »My daughter has joined Genstar 19 months ago.. she is with Ms Tima for around 15 months. Ms Tima is an amazing teacher for the kids. She makes sure our kid is well behaved, showing kindness, love, respect and expresses her feelings. I can see lot of improvements in my daughter both personally and academically. Ms Tima is always reachable in brightwheel app and in person. My daughter is excited to go to school and enjoys being with her friends and teachers. We had a wonderful birthday party for my daughter at her classroom. The assistant teacher Ms Valar is very friendly and reachable too! I feel incredibly grateful to have such wonderful teachers guiding and inspiring my child during these formative years. Read More »There are so many great things to say about Genstar Montessori school…it’s difficult to know where to begin!! First of all, the staff and teachers are truly OUTSTANDING! We first made the decision to transfer our (at the time) 2 yr old son to Genstar from another local daycare/pre-school in Plano. We were really on the fence with the transition for fear it would be too disruptive for our son . Turns out it was the very best decision we could have made! Now, almost a year later…I can see what a healthy and positive influence this school has been on our son. He is learning so much and he’s SO. MUCH. HAPPIER. at the end of the day than he used to be when we pick him up. We also took advantage of summer camp for our Kindergartner, and he also attends on various other holidays when PISD has teacher workdays- the flexibility to have our older son go to Genstar in the summers and holiday periods has been a LIFESAVER! On top of exceeding our expectations academically and developmentally for our kids, the entire staff puts a TON of time and energy into creating fun and interactive family-focused events outside of school as well. They additionally do a great job teaching and exposing the children to all cultures and traditions. We are so grateful to the entire Genstar team and the genuine care and love they show our children each and every day!
Read More »The experience over the past few years has been great. My daughter graduated from here and my son is still here, but they learn so much and the staff is super friendly. I would highly recommend to any parents that are looking for a daycare. Ms. Tima has been exceptional for my son over the past year or so.
Read More »We moved our son to this preschool about six weeks ago and have been very pleased with the experience. He has been playing and interacting more with other children, which is wonderful to see. He is also learning more advanced skills, such as how to properly grip a writing tool and beginning to read. It's clear that he is happy and enjoying his time there, as he comes home cheerful every day. The food provided is something our son really enjoys, and it’s nice to know he’s getting meals he likes. His teacher, Ms. Tima, has been very encouraging and uses a lot of positive reinforcement, which seems to be helping him grow and develop. We are grateful for the nurturing and supportive environment this preschool offers.
Read More »After researching and visiting multiple childcare facilities, Genstar Montessori were absolutely the best option for our little girl. As a first time mom I was very nervous leaving my daughter with someone I didn't know, even though I strongly believe in childcare for building social skills. Our infant daughter started at 3 months and immediately she was welcomed and loved by her teachers and all staff. She was always greeted by her name and we noticed as months went on her progress jumped tremendously. It was amazing to know that she was learning from the best and overcoming milestones with ease. Communication with everyone was very simple as they have an app along with email. We are sad to leave the Genstar family as we are moving to another city. We recommend anyone who is thinking about childcare to the staff at Genstar Montessori. We are sad to leave, and incredibly thankful for their care of our daughter. It's a bitter sweet moment.

Read More »I LOVED this daycare. So when we had to move to California-I cried knowing we would lose this amazing daycare. My daughter loved all the people. I felt like they genuinely care and love the kids. I always felt safe with my daughter there! I have high standards due to this amazing daycare! You and the kids will love it! It’s also SUPER clean and good equipment for kids. Which not all daycares have or keep as nice. I cannot recommend then enough!!! ❤️

Read More »We love Genstar Montessori, Plano, My son has been attending for the past 2 years and my daughter has been there for a year. We love the staff and are so impressed by the curriculum and all of the creative projects and activities that the children participate in! The staff truly care about all of the children and the Director and Asst. Director are wonderful and very attentive to all parents and kids. We could not be happier and are so glad we found a fun and engaging Montessori School for our kids!
